Larry Odell Hall, Sr., 72, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital..

Larry was a native of Moore County. He was the son of Helen Juanita Cain Hall and the late Otis Odell Hall.   Larry owned and operated Larry Hall’s Insulation for over 40 years.  He enjoyed being with his family,  singing, taking care of his animals, collecting antiques, fixing up old cars and painting. Larry was also a gambler, playing poker and buying lottery tickets. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by wife: Geraldine Barnes Hall; son: Larry Hall, Jr; brothers: Ray Hall, Ricky Lynn Hall. 

Larry is survived by daughters: Wendy Hall ( Saul Vasquez), Tammy Cruz (Jeff Garner), Stephanie Barnes (Cody); son:  Scotty Hall (Melissa Nelson); grandchildren:  Felicia Rapozo,  Erica Vasquez, Emma Vasquez, Jimmy Cruz, Angelina Cruz, Christian Hall,  Elizabeth Murray, Dalton Hall; mother: Helen Cain Hall;  sisters: Annette McClanahan, Carolyn Goodwin, Fay Hall Barnes; many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, October 10, 2022 at Pine Mountain Friends Church, with Reverend Edwin Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Memorial may be made to Pine Mountain Friends Church, 268 Phillips Road, Bennett, NC 27208.
