Laura Winifred Bishop Fields, age 63 of 306 Pinehurst Avenue died Sunday (February 25, 2007) at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Eugene Ussery and Rev. Jimmie Phillips. Burial will follow in Cross Hill Cemetery.
Born in Durham, NC she was raised in Raeford and was a daughter of the late Fred and Thelma Spencer Harwood. She worked as an Order Selector for J.T. Davenport for 17 years until her health kept her from being able to work any longer. Two sons Paul and Timothy Bishop preceded her in death.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Fields; sons James Bishop of Sanford, David Bishop of Carthage, John Bishop of Broadway; seven grandchildren Amanda, Matt, Jason, Christian, Nikolaus, Laura Grace and Nathaniel; one great-grandchild Cameron.
Family will receive friends from at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home, Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
