Laura Lucille Puckett Britt, age 83, of 196 Britt Road, died January 24, 2021 at her residence surrounded by family.

 

Mrs. Britt was born in Patrick County, Virginia on May 3, 1937 to the late Everett Garfield Puckett and TeCora Bowman Puckett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Parker Lee Britt, Sr; brothers: Henry, Ken, Oliver, Winfred, Charlie & Sammy Puckett; sisters: Nellie Easter, Eunice Puckett, Inez Hall, Allie Mae Smith, Mabel Gibson, and Valeria Griffin. 

 

She is survived by sister: Louisa Freeman of Eagle Springs; brother: James Quesinberry of Mount Airy;  son: Parker Lee Britt, Jr (Wanda) of Star; daughters: Donna Britt Hussey (Tommy) of Robbins, and Gena Britt Tew of Clinton; grandsons: Jeremiah Hussey (Heather), Johnny Hussey (Stacey), William Britt & Brandon Britt (Maranda); granddaughters: Jessica Hussey Davis (Steven), Amanda Britt Williams (Lucas), Jalyn Tew & Dalsyn Tew; great-grandsons: Harlin Britt, Easton Davis, Sawyer Hussey & Owen Hussey;  great-granddaughters: Ellie Hussey, Hailey Morrison, Aubrey Davis, Gracie Hussey, Dana Britt, Emma Hussey and Sadie Davis.

 

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Britt Family Cemetery, 196 Britt Road, Star, NC, with the Rev. Bill Reynolds and Rev. James Quesinberry officiating. 

 

The body will lie in repose from 10:00 AM until Noon, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
