The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Monday from 6:30 - 8:00 and other times at the home.
Leah was born in Greensboro September 30, 1963 and was preceded in death by a brother Alan Poston; grandparents Norman and Vera Fields. Leah had a never ending love for her children and a wonderful sense of humor. .
She is survived by: her children Stephanie Dowd of Carthage, Joey Colwell of West End, Lexie Oxendine and Amelia Oxendine both of Sanford; mother Norma Fields Conoly of Carthage; father Craig Colwell, Sr. and wife Lonnie of Gulfport, MS; sisters Kimberly Colwell and Rebecca Birnbaum; brothers Robert Poston and Craig Colwell, Jr; aunts and uncles Richard Colwell, Bud Fields, Linda Taylor, Charles and Valarie Fields.
