Mrs. Lena Gulledge Crutchfield, age 94, died Monday (October 6, 2008) at Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carthage.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M. Wednesday at Union Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. William A. Stewart, Jr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Anson County, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Lela Gaddy Gulledge. She was a retired employee of Ginsberg's Department Store and St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines. She was the widow of Leon "Buddy" Crutchfield and was also preceded in death by a sister Mary Monroe and three brothers Frank, Tom and Julian Gulledge.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Union Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
