Lena Thomas McInnis, age 92 of 5104 Dowd Road died Wednesday (January 12, 2011) at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at West End Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Dudley Crawford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was the last surviving of fifteen children born to the late Fleming and Mary Lula Rierson Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow McInnis and was a homemaker.
She is survived by: daughters Jane Penny of Durham, Jennifer Jenkins and husband Jackie of Aberdeen; sons Thomas McInnis and wife Susan of West End, Eric McInnis and wife Robbie of West End; grandchildren Warren and Rachel Penny, Jacquelyn and Victoria Jenkins and David McInnis.
The family would like to invite everyone to the home after the service for a time of food and fellowship.
