Leo R. Patterson, age 87 of Vass died Sunday (August 9, 2009) at Pinehurst Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Friday at Middle Cross Baptist Church in West End conducted by Pastor David Reynolds.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Ernest and Flossie Oldham Patterson. He worked for many years at Parker Meat Company in Vass. He was preceded in death by: his wife Elizabeth Conner Patterson, sisters Naomi Smith and Louise Hicks, Linwood Patterson.
She is survived by: a son Robert Patterson of Vass.
