Leroy Jackson, 74, died on Monday, August 27, 2012 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday , August 31, 2012 at Crossroads Baptist Church, Robbins, NC, with Reverend Mike Holyfield and Reverend Bruce Harry officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was a native of Hoke County, a son of the late James and Grace Garner Jackson. He worked at Milliken Industries and Carthage Fabrics until he retired due to his health.
Leroy is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Shirley Jackson, of the home, son: Mickey Jackson and wife Vickie, of Robbins: daughter: Deborah Lee, of Eagle Springs; grandchildren: Justin Dills and wife Stacey, Cory Lee, Laura Lee, Brandon Jackson and wife Alissa, Joseph Jackson, Hollie Jackson, Heather Jackson, great grandchildren: Ethan and Alexander Jackson, Madison and Jackson Dills, sisters: Peggy Rayle, Jean Teague, Mary Havner, Diane Caddell, Shirley Berry; brother: William Jackson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Jackson Family.
