Linda Ann Lucas Clapp 71, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation, Asheboro, NC, surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 to 9 PM, on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the home of Bill and Barbara Kimball, 4 Little River Lane, Whispering Pines, NC.

Linda was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed sharing a story with people and had a wonderful sense of humor.  Linda was not one to complain and always saw the bright side of things. She was a chocolate lover, diet coke drinker and original lays potato chip advocate. Linda had a beautiful voice and liked to hear Loretta Lynn sing. She was the daughter of the late William Henry and Lena Ann Hart Lucas.

Linda is survived by her daughter: Stephanie Gordan; son: Stephen Lucas and wife Amanda; grandchildren: Tristen Lucas, Annie Lucas, Ellie Lucas, Ashland Lucas, Joseph Gordan, Faith Gordan, Jonas Gordan; sisters: Barbara Kimball and husband Bill, Charlotte Hill;  nieces and nephews: Amanda Hill, Cassandra Hill, Kyle Hill, Terrah Shene, Kasy Caplan, Kelly Johnson; 6 great nieces and nephews and many friends.
