Linda Marion Powers, age 53 of Carthage passed away Tuesday (October 11, 2011) at home with family by her side.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Culdee Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Chris Bobo. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home and following the service in the church fellowship hall.
She was born in Moore County in January 16, 1958 and was a member of Culdee Presbyterian Church. Her faith in God was and will continue to be an inspiration to all who met her.
She is survived by: her son Matthew David Powers; her mother and father, Gussie Monroe Marion and Floyd Gilmer Marion; brothers Johnie Ellis Marion and wife Connie, Ronnie Michael Marion and wife Cathy, Gary Kent Marion; four nephews; three nieces and two great-nieces all of Carthage.
