Lisa R. Cassady, 45, of 146 Fentress Road, died Monday, August 8, 2011 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Church of God of Prophecy, Robbins with the Reverend Burton King officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery, Robbins.
Lisa was a native of Moore County and was a Horticultural Technician at the North Carolina Zoo. She loved her dogs, all animals and plants. Her parents, Harlon and Ruby Brown Cassady preceded her in death.
Lisa is survived by her brothers: Charlie Cassady and wife Brenda, of Seagrove, Randy Cassady and wife Kathy, of Bennett; nephews: Brandon, Jerid, Cale Cassady; Dogs: Lucy, Odie and Little Bit.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Charlie and Brenda Cassady, 3472 Busbee Road, Seagrove, NC.
