Lois Mae Milks

Lois Brewer Milks, 69, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at home, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, NC, with Reverend James Valk and Arnold Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Browns Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
Lois was a native of Moore County and retired from the furniture industry. She also worked in textiles as well. Lois enjoyed time spent reading. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Sadie Vest Brewer and brothers: Thurman, Harold and Pete Brewer.
Lois is survived by her husband, of 53 years, George Milks; son: Michael Milks , of Randleman; Greg Milks and wife Teresa, of Asheboro; daughter: Pat Whitley and husband Michael, of Asheboro; grandchildren: Wayne, Jacob, Stephen, Heavin, Gregory, Matt; great grandchildren: Michael, Wayne, Katie, Brayden, Tyler, Logan and Carter; sister: Donna Aycock and husband Fletcher, of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, February 6,2015 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
