Lola Morgan Allred, 91, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at  Pinelake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carthage, NC.  

 

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Brown's Chapel Christian Church with the Reverend Greg Newton officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM and at other times at the home of Dianna WIlliamson.  

 

Lola was a native of Moore County, she was a homemaker and loved sewing and keeping children.  Lola  attended Robbins First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and worked in the nursery.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Lola cherished time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Dossie and Etta Belle Bruce Morgan, husband, Lester Allred, a son, Donald Allred and 4 siblings

 

Lola is survived by sons: Larry Ray Allred, Tony Allred, Ricky Allred and Ronnie Allred all of Carthage, daughter; Dianna Williamson of Carthage ; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; sister: Jane Lethco of Eagle Springs.

 

Memorials  may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church P.O. Box 386, Southern Pines, NC  28388.
