The Rev. Dr. Lorenzo L. Brooks, age 78 of Chipley, FL. formerly of High Falls, NC died, Monday August 4, 2008 in Panama City FL.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday ( August 15, 2008) at New Bensalem Baptist Church Cemetery, High Falls , NC where he was a former pastor.
He is survived by: wife Essie Brooks of Chipley; a daughter Kathy Toole of Raleigh, NC; a son Lorenzo L. Brooks, Jr. of Raleigh, NC; brothers Henry Goff and Lamont Goff both of Louisville, KY; step-sister Charlotte Kellam of Louisville, KY; step-brother Charles Lumpkins of Toleodo, OH. one grand son; one great-grand daughter.
Fry and Prickett Funeral Home, Carthage, NC is assisting the Brooks family locally.
