We are profoundly saddened to share that our beloved mother, Lorraine Miller Kennedy, age 78, passed peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025, at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End, North Carolina.
Lorraine was born in New York City on June 21, 1946, as one of four children of parents, Ernest Miller Jr. and Ethel nee Rouse.
Lorraine is survived by her four children, son, Jerry Gregor and his wife Arlene, and their three children Justin, Ashley, and Garrett. Daughters: Debbie Gregor and her son Richard Slack III, Caryn Shanley and her daughter, Savannah, and Kim Shanley-Odom, and her son Caleb. She was very proud of her grandchildren mentioned above and her great-grandson Richard Slack IV.

Lorraine touched the lives of everyone she met with her warm engaging personality. Her compassion and loving nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
