Lucy Bridges Cadwell, age 90 of 801 Gossman Dr. died Tuesday (January 8, 2008) at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Yates-Thagard Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Steven Johnson.
A native of Fairview, IL she was a daughter of the late William E. Bridges and Hazel Wise Bridges. After retiring in Ohio in 1971 her and her late husband Wilber moved to Moore County where she worked at the old Matthews Market as a butcher until the Matthews retired in 1979.
She is survived by: a son Arthur Cadwell of MI; stepson Gene Cadwell and wife Patty of FL; grandchildren Shelby and Garrett Cadwell; caretaker Juanita Matthews of Carthage.
