Lucy G. Lambert, age 72 of Robbins died Friday (01-01-10) at her residence.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at the Burns-Lambert family cemetery, Borden Road conducted by the Rev. David Larry Bullard.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Hubert Andrew Greene and Mammie Lucas Greene. She worked for nearly 20 years at Ithica in Robbins. She was preceded in death by: a daughter Marie Lambert; sisters Pauline Bullard and Helen Greene; brother Andrew Greene, Jr.
She is survived by: her husband Oscar R. Lambert, Sr.; daughters Catherine Berry of the home, Mary Burns and husband James of Seagrove; sons Oscar R. Lambert, Jr. of Robbins and fiancé Sharon McIntosh, Eddie R. Lambert and wife Janice of Bear Creek, Ricky W. Lambert of Asheboro and fiancé Anna Frye, Johnny Lambert of the home; sisters Margaret Moore of Vass and Betty Clinch of FL; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home from 3:00 " 5:00 PM Saturday and other times at the residence.
