Lucy Reeder Lambert 93, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at  Autumn Care Nursing and Rehabilitation, Biscoe, NC, surrounded by her family.  

 

Funeral Service will be 11 AM, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Acorn Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend John Williamson, Reverend Edwin Moore and Reverend Gerald Hussey officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  

 

Lucy was a native of Randolph County.  She worked in the textile industry for many years and was a homemaker.   Lucy filled decades with Amazing Grace and hands making biscuits, word search puzzles, big family dinners in a tiny house, family vacations, precious memories and more love than 10 lifetimes could hold. She was always the heartbeat of this crazy bunch of Lamberts - she always will be.  Lucy was a daughter of the late Jason and Eula Scott Reeder and was preceded in death by husband; Quinton Lambert; son: Bill Lambert; grandson: Billy Lambert and 10 siblings.

 

Lucy is survived by daughters: Linda Kennedy and husband Roger; Martha Kennedy and husband Sidney; son: Ronnie Lambert; daughter in law: Debra Lambert; grandchildren: Gina Brewer, Michelle Kennedy, April Cauthen, Joanie Freeman, Suzanne Kennedy; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

The family would like to thank Tink Bond for the loving care and support that she gave their mother and grandmother.

 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday,  January 31, 2017 at Acorn Ridge Baptist Church and at other times at the home of Gina Brewer, 316 Mack Road, Seagrove, NC.   

 

Memorials may be made to FirstHealth Hospice, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC  28374.
