Lynna Chriscoe Davis will be spending Christmas with her savior. She died Monday (December 22, 2008) at her residence at the age of 80.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Doubs Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Eric Joyce.

A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Andrew Lloyd Chriscoe and Lula Florence McNeill Chriscoe. She was also preceded in death by a sister Betty Caddell and brothers Lloyd Chriscoe and J. R. Chriscoe.

Survivors include: her husband of 60 years, R. W. "Bob" Davis, two daughters Kaye Brown and husband, Mike of Carthage, Amy Davis of Carthage; two sons Robbie Davis of West End and Jason Davis and wife, Mandy of West End; five sisters, Louise Michael of Carthage, Josephine Rowland of West End, Opal Blue of Carthage, Nancy Bibey of Carthage, and Shirley Forrest of West End; two brothers, Andrew Blue Chriscoe of Sanford, Roger Chriscoe of Robbins; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends after the memorial service in the fellowship hall.
