Mabel Spivey Hall

Mabel Spivey Hall 90, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.

 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 20,2016  at Providence Chapel Baptist Church, with the Reverend Ralph Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state beginning at 10 AM.

 

Mabel loved the Lord and attending church. She worked in textile and manufacturing for many years. Mabel enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning the home grown vegetables. She was a daughter of the late James R. and Etta Allen Brewer and was preceded in death by her husbands, Calvin Spivey and Solomon Hall; daughter: Carolyn Janell Maness; sisters: Shirley Scott, Arlene Morgan; brothers: Lendo, Cleo, John, Albert, “Brown”  and J B Brewer; grandson: Rodney Spivey.

 

Mabel is survived by son: James Calvin Spivey, of Robbins; grandchildren: Theresa Kostick, Candace Threadgill, Brenda Maness; 7 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
