Maggie McKenzie Morgan, age 74, died Sunday morning at FirstHealth of the Carolinas Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Doubs Chapel U.M.C. conducted by The Rev. Laura Dunlap and Archie Stevens. Following the service, there will be a graveside interment for both Maggie and her husband, James H. Morgan, who died June 25th. Maggie and Jimmy will be laid to rest together.
A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late John K. and Eunice Thomas McKenzie. Maggie was a wonderful wife and mother who cherished her family. She retired from a banking career at RBC Centura.
She is survived by a daughter, Beth Cylc and husband, Keith of Sanford, two sons, Scott Morgan and wife Shannon, of Pittsboro and John Morgan and wife, Debby, of West End, a sister, Mary Thompson of West End, a brother, J.B. McKenzie of Valdosta, GA, and three grandchildren, Cody, James and Alanda.
