Maggie P Davis age 87 of 148 McCrary Road, died Monday at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church conducted by the Rev.Brad Harrison, the Rev. Don Jordan, the Rev. Michael Davis and the Rev. Michael Wilkie burial will follow in Cross Hill Cemetery.
A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Lee Pigford and Mary Glisson Pigford. She was a former clerk for Mack's Dime Store in Carthage and retired from A&P Grocery Store as a cashier and bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband the late John Willis Davis.
She is survived by a daughter Diane Davis of the home, a son John Davis and wife Anjalette Kelly of Charlotte, a half sister Dorothy Phillips of Richmond, VA., two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 —8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage.
