Margaret Ann Ritter passed away at at her home peacefully on August, 6, 2024

Memorial Service will be 7 PM,  Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Kennedy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 6 PM.

Margaret was a wonderful mother. She was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. She loved to spend time talking and hanging out with her sister Teresa Hall. She loved her animals, especially her cats. She loved to talk about the monkey she used to have as a child that would ride her bike with her. She loved her horses she had as a child and would tell stories about how she loved to ride. Margaret loved to go ride motorcycles with her friend Raleigh Dunn. They went everywhere together. She definitely missed their time together when he passed. Willy was also a good friend who traveled with her and Raleigh, Willy taught her all about drawing and painting. He was amazing at it. Margaret loved to take pictures of his work and draw and paint with him. She never met a stranger; she could talk to anyone, making new friends was easy. She absolutely loved to see her dear friend Linda every Monday and Thursday. Those days were the highlight of the week. She was a great friend. She was the most proud of her son Michael Sturdivant; he was her world.

Margaret is survived by her son Michael Sturdivant and his wife Paden. Her mother Anna Lee Ritter,  brother Westley Ritter and his wife Debra and many friends.
