Margaret B. Crabtree, age 79, died on Tuesday (March 3, 2009) at Magnolia Gardens.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday at Friendship Baptist Church in Carthage with the Rev. Dr. William Maness officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Baxter Lloyd Brady and Blennie Stewart Brady. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Crabtree and brothers, Paul Brady and June Brady.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann Stephenson and husband, Carl of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, William "Buddy" Crabtree, Jr. of Robbins; two sisters, Dorothy Mendes of Houston, TX and Rachel Brady of Carthage; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7:00:8:00 at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home.

I am sorry to hear of your mother\’s passing.
You\’ve been on my mind lately; I found out recently (too late to contact you) that \"Buddy\" had lost a parent, and only then did I learn you were in Va Beach.
I hope you and
