Margaret Davis Roberts, age 78 of Cameron died Sunday (3/31/2013) at Peak Resource - Pinelake in Carthage.
A graveside service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at White Hill Presbyterian Church conducted by Pastor Archie Stevens. The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home prior to the service from 1:30 - 2:30 PM.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Gladys Lemons Davis. Margaret worked for many years at Proctor Silex in Southern Pines and also in housekeeping at the Country Club of North Carolina. She also operated her own cleaning business for several years.
She was preceded in death by: her husband William H. Roberts, Jr. who died in 2004 and her brother Hayden Davis.
She is survived by: daughters Barbara Coe of Cameron, Sandra Abernathy and husband Ray of Catawba and Judy Roberts of Cameron; sons William H. 'Robbie' Roberts, III and wife Dianne of Cameron, David Roberts and wife Linda of Cameron; sister Dorothy Collier of Carthage; brother Roger Davis of Carthage; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
