Frances Sheffield 75, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Crossroads Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Mike Holyfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 PM and at other times at 7843 Jugtown Road, Seagrove, NC.
Frances loved the Lord and her church family. She enjoyed flower gardening and all of nature. Watching wildlife around her home was important to her, especially seeing hummingbirds and deer. She loved her family and spending time with all the grandchildren. Margaret was a daughter of the late Charlie and Lena Wirt Eanes and was preceded in death by husband: Graham Sheffield; son: Kenneth Sheffield; siblings: Lilly, Gene, Lynda, Helen.
Frances is survived by sons:Joe Sheffield and wife Kim, Earl Sheffield; daughters: Lisa Shropshire and husband, Phillip, Sherry Ellis and husband Jason; grandchildren: Clifford Sheffield, Mitchell Sheffield, Rebecca Sheffield, Rachel Garner, Steven Sheffield, Corey Sheffield, Ashlyn Hardwick, Melissa Shropshire, Samantha Cagle, Christopher Eng, Avery Ellis, Aidan Ellis: great grandchildren: Clemons, Alyssa, Brayden, Charlotte; sisters: Audrey Doby, Betty Pegg; brothers: David, Charles and James Eanes; many friends.
