Margaret Kidd Maness, 90 of 411 E. Virginia Ave. died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Quail Haven Village, Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be 3:00 PM. Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist, where she was a member, with the Dr. Kenneth McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Maness was a native of Chatham County and retired from Milliken & Company. She was preceded in death by her husband T. Julian Maness. Brothers: Charlie Kidd, Louis Kidd and Henry Kidd. Sister: Cornie Green.
Surviving are: son Gary Maness and wife Betty of Robbins.
Grandaughter: Pam Maness Garner of Robbins.
Great-grandson: Josh D. Garner of Robbins.
Brother: Norman Kidd.
Sisters: Dot Martindale, Cordia Shelton and Johnsie Bouldin
The family will receive friends 1:00 " 2:30 PM. Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Kennedy Funeral Home, and other times at the home of her son Gary 420 E. Lindale St. Robbins.
