Louise Cagle Garner 86, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Crossroads Baptist Church, Robbins, NC, with the Reverend Mike Holyfield officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM.

 

Mrs. Garner was a native of Moore County. She was a homemaker, a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.   She loved living and working on the family farm. Louise loved to cook and talk with all her friends and family.  She was a daughter of the late Jonah and Mintie Williams Cagle and was preceded in death by husband: Lacy A. Garner;  sisters: Elgie Garner, Mazie McNeill; brothers: Eldon, Norman, Dee and Charlie Cagle  

 

Louise is survived by son: Lacy Garner, Jr. and wife Kathy, daughter: Wanda Garner Crenshaw and husband Edward, grandchildren: Aaron Garner and wife Jennifer, Zachary Garner and wife Mandy, Adam Crenshaw and wife Katie, Kristin Crenshaw, Michael Mayes, Matthew Mayes and wife Brittany, great-grandchildren: Andrew, Lawson, Elijah, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Natalie, Avery, Abigail, Noah, Colton And Ella Grace.

 

Louise also leaves behind faithful companion: Sparky, beloved dog, that never left her side..

 

The family extends their thanks to caregivers: Cindy Garner, her niece, and Shirley Sanders, Sandra Bullins, Monica McLeod.

  1. It occurred to me today that although I saw this obituary back the same week of Mrs. Garner’s passing that I did not leave an expression of sympathy. I hope her folks will see it. My late maternal grandfather James E. Williams of Rockingham and Mrs. Cagle
