Mrs. Margaret Richardson Oldham, age 82 of Hunters Glen Apartments, died Friday (November 9, 2007) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Monday at Deep Creek Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Oscar Logwood. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A daughter of the late Albert and Noma Bell Fulp Richardson, she was a former textile employee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters: Mary Freeman, Pauline Norris, Ruby Hazelwood and Cynthia Gertrude Richardson; four brothers Rover, Bill, Jack and Tommy Richardson.
She is survived by: daughters Jean Lucas and husband Cleve of Pinehurst and Treva Williams and husband Gerry of Robbins; sons Bobby Mabe of Jackson Springs and Aldene Mabe of West End; sisters Virginia Sands of Pinebluff and Rhuamer Roach of Eden; brothers Frank Richardson of Pinebluff and Troy Richardson of Aberdeen; two step-daughters Louise Fricke of Carthage and Pat Sheffield of Robbins; a step-son Buddy Oldham of Carthage; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; eight step-grandchildren; fourteen step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 —8:00 P. M. Sunday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage and at other times at the home of Jean Lucas, 1035 Chicken Plant Road in Pinehurst.
