Marguree Collins Garner Bullitt, age 82 of 203 Collins Road died Monday (March 10, 2008) at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Summer Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Joseph K. Peters. Burial will follow at Victory Community Baptist Church.
A native of Harnett County she was a daughter of the late William Thomas Collins and Annie Jane Patterson Collins. She retired from J.P. Stevens and was preceded in death by: her husbands Bud Garner and Bert Bullitt; grandchildren Dana Garner and Summer Wilson; great-granddaughter Janie-Grace Roberts.
She is survived by: daughters Sue Jackson and husband R.J. of Whispering Pines, Theresa Parks and husband Roy of Vass; sons Jimmy Collins and wife Nancy of Carthage, Robert Garner of Vass, Carl Garner and wife Janie of Vass; sisters Betty Richardson of Carthage, Mary Bullard and husband Lester of Sanford; brothers Buck Collins of Carthage, Albert Collins and wife Ethel of Carthage, Waylon Collins and wife Johnsie of West End, Roy Collins and wife Mary of West End; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 —8:00 PM and other times at the residence of Sue Jackson, 628 Michael Road, Whispering Pines.
