Marian Francis Pickles, 92 , of Southern Pines, NC passed away August 1, 2016 at St Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines, NC.

 

A service will be held at Christ Community Church, 220 Campground Road, West End, NC, September 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm followed by a reception at the church.

 

Marian was born and raised in Beacon, NY. She worked at the East Fishkill IBM plant for 15 years. She loved her church, reading was one of her favorite past times. She was the happiest when surrounded by her family. Marian had a generous spirit and ministered to others as a quiet, behind the scenes, encourager.

 

Predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Edith Williams and her husband, Robert Pickles.

 

She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Pickles, (Deborah) of Pinehurst, NC, Thomas R. Pickles, (Linda) of Wilmington, NC, Mark R. Pickles, (Bernadette) of Raleigh, NC and six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

 

Memorials may be made to the youth ministry at Christ Community Church, PO Box 3307, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
