Marjorie Ann Williamson, 80, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at Peak Resources Pinelake.

 

Marjorie was born June 21, 1943, the daughter of Rufus and Essie Frye Williams.  She was a graduate of  Elise High School.  Marjorie worked for many years in the textile  industry.  She loved the Lord and enjoyed visiting many local churches, sharing her testimony.   She served as Pastor of  Bible Pentecostal Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband: Archie Williamson; sisters: Lois Vest, Ilene Cockman.

 

Marjorie is survived by sons: Eddie Williamson (Sarah), Bryon Williamson (Angel); grandchildren: Zach Weidman, Katelyn Marnell; many nieces, nephews and special friend, Ronnie Davis.

 

Funeral service will be 3 PM, Friday, July 28, 2023 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Reverend Vic Hill and Reverend Adam Beddingfield officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday July 27, 2023 at Kennedy  Funeral Home. 

 

The family extends their gratitude to the Pinelake Nursing Facility for the wonderful care they provided Marjorie.

 

In lieu of flowers  memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
