  3. Roy and Family,

I was very saddened to hear of Martha’s passing. She and I traded a lot of friendly and jovial jabs when I was serving at Acorn Ridge. It was a joy to serve you both. Now, she is with our Lord and for that, I am very happy for her. To those of us left behind, and especially her dear family, I say God bless you during this sorrowful time.

I will be out of town at a conference and will be unable to attend the funeral, but please know that I am praying for you and love you. Should I be of any service, I am a phone call away.

    God bless you.
