Martha Joyce Allen, age 62, died Friday (6/22/2012) at FirstHealth Hospice in Pinehurst.
Funeral services are planned for 3:00 PM Sunday at Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel.
A native of Montgomery County she was the daughter of the late John Walter Bailey and Lillie Geneva Miller Bailey. She was a licensed practical nurse by trade. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clifton G. Allen.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Williams of Aberdeen and son, Christopher Gary Allen & wife, Anna Faith of Carthage; three grandchildren, Gary Tyler Williams, Emily Joyce Williams and Easton Anthony Allen.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM on Saturday at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at 159 Manor Road, Carthage, NC.
