Marvin Price, age 90, of Pinehurst died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

 

A graveside service will military honors will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted by his son Rev. Larry Price and Rev. Rick Robinson.

 

A native of California he was a son of the late Haywood and Katie Forsythe Price. He served in the US Marine Corp from 1945-1949 and worked in sales for many years before being called into the ministry at age 50. He served as a pastor for 15 years before retiring to Pinehurst in 1998.

 

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Carol Price; daughter Connie Ullrich and husband Gene of Victorville, CA; sons Larry Price and wife Janet of Carthage, Steve Price and wife Karen of Carthage; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
