Mary Black Blue

Mary Black Blue, age 93 of Tarboro and formerly of Carthage died Monday (February 1, 2010) at Tarboro Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Culdee Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. David Coffey. Following the committal in the church cemetery the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late John Robinson Black and Vandora Moore Black. She worked for several years in the poultry business and later for Green Haven Plant Farm. She was preceded in death by her husband John Francis Blue. In her later years she left Moore County to live with her daughter in Tarboro.
She is survived by: daughter Janice Taylor and husband Linwood of Tarboro; son Stanley Blue and wife Mary Sue of Maxton; grandchildren John Duncan Blue of Shelby, Kyle S. Blue and wife Gun of San Francisco, CA, Keith Taylor and wife Angel of Tarboro; great-grandchildren Oliver Blue, Christian John Taylor, Mary Elizabeth Taylor.
