Mrs. Mary C. "Linda" Preslar, age 72 of Brady Road died Thursday (July 26, 2007)
at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday at Union Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. William A. Stewart, Jr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County, she was a daughter of the late Aaron F. "Criss" Crissman and the late Flora Alice Phillips Crissman. She was a former employee of the Carthage Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Preslar, a daughter Kimberly Shepherd and a son Hank Preslar.
She is survived by daughters Brenda Bailey and husband Ronald of Carthage, Melinda Reese and husband Ronnie of Laurinburg; one brother Robert "Gus" Crissman of Carthage; nine grandchildren; two great-grand children.
The family will receive friends 7:00- 9:00 P.M. Friday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home and at other times at the residence on Brady Road.
