Mary Ford Cannon, 91, of Southern Pines died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at St. Joseph of the Pines.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8th at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel at Belle Meade.
Born February 16, 1921 in Chicago, Il she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Ford Cannon.
Mary was a registered nurse and a U S Army Captain during the Korean and Vietnam War.
Memorials gifts may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

She will be dearly missed. She brought so many smiles and joy to those around her. You never knew what she was going to say but you could be guaranteed a laugh. I was privileged to have known her. God bless her and her family.
