Mary Geraldine Wall, 93, of Carthage, went to be with her Lord on November 24, 2024, at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End.
Geraldine was a native of Surry County, born to the late Robert Lincoln and Lettie Taylor Marshall.
She is remembered as a hard worker who worked in the tobacco fields and as a seamstress with Smithson Company for 30 years. Geraldine was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved her family more than anything. She was a devout Christian woman who loved the Lord and was a long-time member of Red Branch Baptist Church in Carthage.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Auburn Wall, of 63 years. Three sisters: Ernestine Marsh, Betty Hall, Joyce Green, and her brother, Wayne Marshall.
Geraldine is survived by her three children: daughter, Peggy Morris, and sons: Dannie and Michael Wall of Carthage; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Two sister-in-laws; Veda Wall Hurley and Ruth Wall Davis.
A graveside service will held at Red Branch Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. Pastor Jeff Mitchell will be officiating.

We were so sad to hear of Geraldine passing. She was a very special Aunt to me. She was a devoted Christian and lived her faith. Sending prayers to her family, that GOD will comfort them, knowing she is with HIM in Heaven.
