Mary Hilliard, age 73 of 375 Jody Road died Sunday (March 7, 2009) at her residence.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Summer Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Joe Hall and Bessie Tyner Hall. She graduated from Sandhills Farmlife School and was a retired assistant teacher from Sandhills Farmlife School. Her husband J.C. Hilliard preceded her in death.
She is survived by: a daughter Lisa Reynolds of Carthage; sons J. Mike Lewis and wife Kathy of Carthage, Kirk Lewis and wife Melanie of Harrison TN, David Lewis and wife Cindy of Chicago, IL, Keith Hilliard and wife Kim of Carthage; step-daughters Pat Garner and husband Todd of Carthage, Phyllis Moore and husband Rick of West End; brother Jody Hall and wife Paula of Carthage; sister Ann Marona and husband Homer of Cameron; seven grand children.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home from 6:00 —8:00 PM Monday and other times at the residence.
