Melba Owen Reynolds, 77, of Robbins, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. James Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Reynolds was a native of Moore County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Reynolds. She was the organist in her church and was actively involved in church activities.
Surviving are her nephews, William "Bill" Owen and wife, Marilyn, of Pinehurst, Johnny Owen and wife, Martha, of Carthage, and Thomas Reynolds of Robbins; nieces, Kathy Thomas and husband, Richard, of Robbins, Diana Wroe and husband, Dean, of Cameron, and Jeanne Lamb and husband, Kyle, of Asheboro; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins.

  2. Even though I had not seen Pal in a while, I thought of her often. I have many fond memories of visiting with my grandmother, Nonnie Boles, whom Pal has now joined (with so many others) in Heaven. Love and condolences to all the family.
