Melinda Anne Kennedy age 48, of Carthage passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Services will be on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Faith Baptist Church. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 6 :00 PM-8:00 PM at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage and other times at the home of her mother, 403 Williamson Road, Carthage.
She attended Union Pines High School and worked for many years at Hillcrest Community Store.
She is survived by a son, Travis Stidham of Cameron; her mother, Annie Goodwin of Carthage; a sister, Teresa Salyer and husband, Mike of Carthage; a brother, Mike Goodwin of Broadway; and granddaughter, Dixie Lynn Stidham.
Fry & Prickett Funeral Home is serving the Kennedy family.
