Melinda Horne, age 52, died peacefully Christmas morning with her family at her side.  

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Eureka Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ed Boyce officiating.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Horne and nephew, Chris Martin.  She is survived by her mother, Grace K Horne, one brother, Charles Horne & wife, Dawn of Carthage; two sisters, Bonnie Martin & husband, Connard of Carthage and Patti Berglund & husband, Rick of Okeechobee, Florida.  She was an aunt to five, great aunt to ten and great-great aunt to two.

The family will receive friends at the home of Grace Horne.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to FirstHealth Hospice, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC  28374.

Fry & Prickett Funeral Home is serving the family.
