Guestbook

  1. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with the family. May the Lord be with you and give you peace, strength and comfort as only he can.

  2. Prayers for Melvina’s family! I enjoyed talking with her in person or on the phone. She was straight and to the point about whatever you would talk to her about. In visiting her in her home she would have her Bible out along with a Sunday School quarterly or devotional booklet. She wasn’t hesitant in testifying about her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am glad for her that she is now with her Lord which is far better than anything here on earth.

  3. I know Melvina is in the presence of Jesus & worshiping her Savior! She was always reading her Bible, praying, & witnessing to others. You never left her house without a sermon or words of encouragement! She would give you her last dime if you needed it. She was like a grandma to me & I loved her! Prayers for comfort to Jimmy & Aileen & Family.

  4. Such a pleasure to have had Melvina in my life. She walked the faith and is now walking with Jesus in Heaven. The last time My sisters and I visited her in the nursing home she witnessed to us her love for Jesus. We actually sang “Jesus Loves Me” with her and did a video. At the end she clapped her hands. 🙏🏻

  5. Melvina will be missed by everybody. I will always remember her and her sisters coming to see my Grandmother their Aunt Bettie, and sharing their Christian Faith. Melvina is having great time with her Aunt Bettie and all the rest of the Loved Ones.
May God Bless Jimmy and the Family.

    David Kennedy and Family
