Shannon Eads, age 19, died Thursday at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday (9/25/2011) at Carthage United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mattheue Locklear & the Rev. Max Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Douglas Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A time of food & fellowship will be continued at the families home after the burial.
A native of Moore County he was a special needs student and senior at Union Pines High School. Shannon loved holidays, birthdays, singing and looked forward to the weekends when he could swim with his brother Danny. He touched many lives through his smiles and hugs. He loved his family and especially his nieces Holly and Kaycee. He was preceded in death by a brother Jason Eads.
He is survived by: his parents Allen & Carol Eads; two sisters, Kathy Davis & husband Rick of Sanford and Caroline Freymuth of Leland, NC; a brother Daniel Clark of Cameron; grandmothers Maxie Eads of Sanford and Patricia Bailey of Carthage and grandfather Jimmy Douglas of Carthage.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the ARC of Moore County, PO Box 773, Southern Pines, NC 28388.
