Michael Todd Maness, 51, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at his home.

Todd was a graduate of North Moore High School and attended Wingate College on a football scholarship until he was involved in a tragic accident. His love of football never ended, he taught and coached many young people for over 28 years.   His support for North Moore Football was never failing.  He was a lifelong student of football and enjoyed every opportunity to have a conversation about the sport he loved.   He was a Clemson Tiger football fan.  Todd was also a very talented artist before and after his accident.  His art work is still in many homes across North Carolina. He was an inspiration to all who knew or had the pleasure of meeting him. His personal testimony of his love and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was shared both in the life he lived and his personal witness. He was a lifelong member of Smyrna Church. 13. Mike and Flora I just found out today about Todd. I’m so sorry and know this is heartbreaking for you both. You are great loving parents and God will bless you for all you do. Todd meant so much to so many people and was such an inspiration to others. I’m sure he’s walking the streets of Gold. That has to be a comforting thought to have. I know I think of George that way. We will always miss them but have reassurance that one day we will be together again. Love to you both ♥️♥️
