Michelle Maness Moore, age 52 of Robbins died Friday at her home after a hard fought battle with declining health.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Flint Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. William Hancock and Rev. Brian Maness. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

A native of Moore County she was a graduate of North Moore High School and Sandhills Community College where she later worked. She also worked for Dr. David Williams, Southern Pines Womens Clinic and most recently with Dr. Bell in Robbins.

 

Michelle was a very loving and caring person. While she spent many years in declining health she was always more concerned about the well-being of others. She had a strong love for God and her husband. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mom to her two sons whom she loved and cherished dearly. She was an avid prayer warrior and was immensely proud of her nieces and nephews. Many will remember Michelle for the many ways she showed her love to others.

 

She is survived by: her husband of 32 years James A. “Tony” Moore; sons Daniel Moore, USAF and Taylor Moore both of Robbins; parents James Paul and Frances Wicker Maness; brothers Mike Maness of Robbins, Randy Maness of Clayton, Paul Maness of Robbins, sister Bethany Lambert of Robbins. Also surviving are her in laws James Roger and Velma Ritter Moore of Robbins; sisters in law Debbie Allen of Star; Wendy Ritter of Robbins; Denise Greene of Seagrove; and brother in law Jodie Moore of Robbins; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

 

The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and other times at the home of James Paul and Frances Maness.
