Mike Church Jr., 42, passed away Monday July 31, 2023.
Mike was born in Wilkes County, grew up in Roaring River and moved to Coleridge in 2010. He was a graduate of Randolph Community College with an Associate Degree in CNC Programming and Machinery. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mike Sr. and Josephine Church; grandson: Ewan Smith.
Mike is survived by his wife: Amanda Church; daughter: Destiney Cox; 4 step sons: William Smith, Joshua Smith, Ethan Smith, Landon Smith; granddaughter: Rosalie Smith; mother in law: Penny Davis; brother: Joseph Church; sister: Athena Jones (Sam); several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends
Michael loved the Lord. He was a free spirit, who never met a stranger. If anyone ever needed him he would do his best to be there. He would light up a room with his beautiful smile and had a laugh that was contagious. He loved spending time with family and friends. Mike liked to make them laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date.
