Mrs. Edith Dunlop Wadsworth

Mrs. Edith Dunlop Wadsworth, age 78 of Pinehurst, formerly of Wadsworth Rd., Carthage, died Monday (March 12, 2007) at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. William A. Stewart, Jr.
A native of Lee Co., she was a daughter of the late Willard L. and Ilene Terry Dunlop. She was employed for over twenty years by Milliken Corp. in Robbins and then worked at Carthage Fabrics until she retired. Her husband Charles Wadsworth preceded her in death.
She is survived by: two daughters Judy Ann Brittain and husband Farrell of Charleston, SC and Betty Jane Thornton and husband Henry of Stoneville, NC; sons James Alan Wadsworth and wife Clarice of Savannah, GA, Thomas Michael Wadsworth and wife Judy of Wagram and Robert Edward Wadsworth and wife Wanda of Pinebluff; sister Betty Ensign and husband Chet of Pinehurst; Brother Bill R. Dunlop of Pinehurst; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
