Mrs. Ercie Caddell Harris, age 87 of Dowd Rd., West End, died Saturday (October 6, 2007) at Manor Care of Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P. M. Sunday at Fairview Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Donnie Gillis and the Rev. Fred Richardson. Burial will follow in the Harris Family Cemetery.
A native of Moore County Mrs. Harris worked as a switchboard operator at Moore Regional Hospital for many years. Her husband Herbert Franklin Harris, a son S. Wayne Harris and a grandson James Harris all preceded her in death.
She is survived by: daughters Betty H. Childers of Seven Lakes, Virginia Dale Kidd of Nephi, UT; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the Fairview Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following the graveside service.
